Shows light use with ball and seam marks on the back barrel, cracked handle, #19 on the end of the bat in white paint pen which was common during this era. Bold silver signature on the left barrel. This large label Louisville dates to Tony’s rookie season with the mustard and brown Padres and features his “rookie” signature branded on the barrel These highly desirable rookie signature Gwynns are hard to come by.

Model 279H, shows tremendous game use with a heavy concentration of ball and seam marks on the right barrel. Grain swelling from repeated contact is present along with bat rack marks and a light coat of pine tar on the handle. The handle is cracked and has been nicely repaired. A very faint #19 has faded on the knob over the years and is hardly visable today. Tony used these Rawlings heavily during the ’84 & ’85 seasons before permanently switching to Louisvilles for game action circa ’86.

This foil stamped bat is uncracked, shows light but definite game use with ball marks on the right barrel, black ink marks and blue bat rack marks. Tony’s number 19 is written on the knob in common, small writing for that time. Very light pine tar on the upper handle. Tony has added a nice signature on the bat’s sweet spot.

This uncracked, blonde Rawlings was manufactured for use in the 1986 All Star game. Bat shows light but definite game use with a handful of ball and seam marks on the right barrel. TG 19 19 is stamped on the knob. Tony signed the sweet spot of the barrel. A nice, early All-Star bat which saw game action at some point.

This cracked, Rawlings was manufactured for use in the 1987 All Star game and shows outstanding game use. There is a heavy concentration of ball and seam marks on the right barrel. Red and black ink transfers are on the barrel, red ink was used on the ’87 All Star balls. There is grain swelling from repeated contact along with bat rack marks. The handle has a nice coat of pine tar and approximately five inches of athletic tape wrapped around the mid handle, which was common for the 87 season

This Gwynn finish Louisville was made specifically for Tony during the ’88 season and was meant to replace the C263 model. This uncracked bat shows tremendous game use with a heavy concentration of ball and seam marks on the right barrel. Grain swelling is present along with rack marks and a donut impression above the label. There is a heavy coat of tar up and down the handle. Tony’s #19 is written boldly on both ends of the bat. Bat is signed on the sweet spot in silver. Graded PSA GU 10

This Gwynn finish Louisville is from the rack and prepped for game use. Tony’s #19 along with model number G170 is written on the knob and model number is written on the barrel end. Tony’s period signature from the ‘80’s is in bold gold sharpie on the left barrel. These G170’s were only ordered by Tony during the ’87 & ’88 seasons.

This uncracked Louisville shows excellent game use with ball and seam marks on the right barrel. Light grain swelling. There is a light coat of pine tar on the upper handle along with Tony’s trademark tape job on the lower handle. “C263 32 ½ 31” is written on the knob along with “C263 19” on the barrel end. Tony’s bold signature along with HOF 07 sits atop the left barrel. An overall beautiful Gwynn gammer from the early ‘90’s.

This cracked Louisville shows outstanding game use. There is a heavy concentration of ball and seam marks on the right barrel. Black in transfers, bat rack marks and black shoe polish marks are found on the barrel. There is a very nice coat of pine tar up and down the handle. “C263 32 ½ 31 19” is written on the knob and “C263 19” written on the barrel end. Tony’s signature is on the left barrel. This is an overall outstanding example of Tony’s weapon of choice during the early ‘90’s.

My favorite Gwynn gamer. The right barrel is absolutely hammered with ball and seam marks, including grain swelling, black in transfers and bat rack marks. There is a heavy donut impression on the lower barrel from use of the metal donuts without the rubber coating. There is a nice coat of pine tar on the upper handle and Tony’s signature on the left barrel. This bat saw extensive game action and is an ideal Gwynn gamer.

This slighty-cracked, natural Louisville shows outstanding game use. Heavy concentration of ball and deep seam marks on the right barrel. There are plenty of black ink transfers along with bat rack marks and grain swelling. A nice layer of Mota stick is at the top of the handle and a single strip of tape connects the lower handle and knob. Typical knob markings from this era, “B267C 33-30 ½ 19” along with “B267 19” at the barrel’s end. Tony’s bold signature and HOF/07 sit atop the barrel.

This uncracked Louisville shows excellent game use with multiple ball and seam marks to go along with grain swelling concentrated on the right barrel. This Gwynn finished LVS has the Padres’ Swinging Friar stamped on the barrel along with the notation /3000 underneath the Padres’ team name. These bats were produced for Tony as he came within an arm’s reach of joining the historic 3000 hit club. Graded PSA/DNA GU 10

This black B267 shows tremendous game use with a slight handle crack, taped handle and heavy pine tar. Numerous ball and seam marks on the right and back barrel. This is a rare maple bat used by Tony at the very end of his career. Judging by the game use and the fact that the bat is cracked, this bat very well could have been used for the final hit(s) of Tony's career.
